Payment For Dentists

Ask a Question

I visited the dentist for check up today. I had to pay because I'd earned £13 over what a couple I'd allowed to earn. What's the smallest amount that you've been over and had to pay full?

My husband had to get an emergency filling. He had to pay £20 for it, the majority was covered by the NHS. He wasn't asked what he earned though, he had to pay because it was an emergency appointment.

I’ve been lucky not to have to pay for dental. But I’ve heard of some horror stories about huge bills. A friend of mine had to pay £300 odd quid for a root canal

I was the opposite for benefits I was £10 over for any benefits. Worse part was I was on a zero hour contract. Term time was OK but Christmas my place of work shut down same as some half terms. Summer we did less hours because kids would go away. Go to other places and not youth clubs

Jerseydrew that's got to be hard.

I only get Christmas day off every other year personally with same pay as any other
